Invite your friends over and we’ll bring the lab. Everyone finds out what their unworn gold and silver is worth, in private and with no pressure. As the host, you get a thank-you gift from us.
How a gold party works
It’s like a home party in reverse. Instead of buying something, your guests bring the broken, unworn and forgotten pieces sitting in their drawers.
Tell us about your party
Pick a date and a place and give us a rough guest count. Our team will reach out to plan the details with you.
We send your host kit
Your digital host kit has invitations, FAQs and a sheet showing what we buy and what we don’t. Prefer paper? We can print and mail it for a small fee.
We bring the lab
A MINTY advisor opens with a short, hands-on demo of how gold and silver are tested and priced. Then we meet each guest one-on-one.
Guests decide privately
Every evaluation is free. Guests who choose to sell are paid on the spot by cheque or e-transfer.

Hosting questions
Is there any cost to host?
No. Hosting is free, and so are the evaluations. We bring the scales, the testing equipment and the paperwork.
How many guests do I need?
There’s no minimum. Invite as many or as few people as you like, and we’ll plan the party around your group.
Where can I hold a party?
Anywhere in Canada. Host it at home, or in another space like a clubhouse, office or community room.
How long does a party last?
It depends on how many guests you have and how much they bring. We’ll plan it with you and bring as many team members as we need to see every guest within 2–3 hours.
Does anyone have to sell?
No. Evaluations are free and there’s never any obligation. Guests can take their written evaluation home and decide later.
What do I need to do on the night?
Welcome your guests and enjoy the evening. We take care of everything else.
