Our process is simple and transparent

    Choose how to sell

    Visit our shop in Burlington, find us on the road at one of our pop-ups, or have a MINTY representative or a free, insured courier pick up your items right from your door.

    Each item is tested individually by one of our certified precious metals buyers.

    Receive your evaluation

    Whether we see you in person or pick up your items at your door, you’ll receive your no-obligation evaluation the same day in person, or within 24 hours of receiving picked-up items.

    Get paid

    You decide whether to sell some or all of your items, and get paid the same day by e-transfer or cheque.

Every piece has a story

We know each piece has a story, and we love to hear them. Sit down with one of our certified gold buyers while they evaluate and admire each piece.

We test everything right in front of you using professional tools, including our XRF device for metal analysis. We explain each step as we go. There’s no rush and no pressure.

Your gold and silver in any condition, and valid photo ID. By law, you must be at least 18 and show proper identification to sell.

Is the evaluation free?

Yes. Evaluations are complimentary and there’s never an obligation to sell.

How do I get paid?

If you choose to sell, you’re paid on the spot by e-transfer or cheque. The choice is always yours.

What happens to my gemstones?

MINTY buys the gold and silver value only. Gemstones are returned to you if you’d like to keep them.

Do I need an appointment?

If you have a number of items, we recommend booking an appointment. If you only have an item or two, feel free to drop in and use our walk-up window.
