MINTY comes to the Evergreen Seniors Community Centre on Woolwich Street once a month for relaxed, one-on-one gold and silver evaluations. Downsizing, sorting an estate, or just curious about an old ring? We’ll explain what you have and what it’s worth, with plenty of time for your questions.
Every pop-up at the Evergreen Seniors Community Centre gives back
Evergreen is a welcoming community hub for seniors in Guelph, offering programs, activities and opportunities to stay active and connected. MINTY’s pop-ups are open to the public, so you do not need to be a centre member to attend.
Every Evergreen pop-up also gives back. A portion of MINTY’s proceeds from each visit goes directly back to the Evergreen Seniors Community Centre, supporting its programs and services for seniors in Guelph.

If you sell, you’re paid on the spot by cheque or e-transfer.
What to bring
Gold and silver jewellery in any condition (broken chains, single earrings, old class rings), sterling silver flatware and tea sets, gold and silver coins, and bullion. Not sure what it is? Bring it anyway.

Is the evaluation free?
Yes. Evaluations are complimentary and there’s never an obligation to sell.
How do I get paid?
By cheque or e-transfer, on the spot. We don’t handle cash.
Can I take time to decide?
Absolutely. We’ll provide a written evaluation detailing each item and its value, so you can take it home and come back whenever you’re ready. There’s no pressure or obligation to sell.
What if I want to keep the stones?
Just ask. We can remove stones and return them to you.
