You’ll receive a detailed receipt of your evaluated items, and you decide whether to sell some, all or none of them. For appraisals on higher-end pieces, you’re welcome to join our complimentary appraisal clinic.

Do I have to sell everything?
No. You decide whether to sell some or all of your items, and there’s never an obligation to sell.
Can I take time to decide?
Absolutely. You’ll receive a written evaluation detailing each item and its value. There’s no pressure or obligation to sell.
Do I need an appointment?
If you have a number of items, we recommend booking an appointment. If you only have an item or two, feel free to drop in and use our walk-up window during shop hours.
I can’t bring it all in. What are my options?
Book a free Pick Up & Pay. A MINTY advisor comes to you anywhere in Canada, carefully documents your items and collects them free of charge.
What happens to my gemstones?
MINTY buys the gold and silver value only. We return gemstones to you if you’d like to keep them, or we can talk through a few other options that suit you best.
How do I get paid?
If you choose to sell, you’re paid on the spot by cheque or e-transfer. The choice is always yours.
Do I need ID?
Yes. By law, you must be at least 18 years old and show a valid form of identification to sell.
